Pokemon Emerald Plus Plus is my (mynameisPooky) first-ever ROM hack based on the Pokeemerald decompilation. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed to both the decomp and the expansion, as I couldn’t have done this without that foundation. I began this ROM hack in August as a fun way to learn the ins and outs of the decomp, and what started as a small project quickly snowballed into something much bigger.
Is it unique? Probably not. I’m aware that there are plenty of “Emerald but better/modern” hacks out there, but I honestly didn’t even know about them until I was deep into this project. My hope is that, even if this hack doesn’t stand out as particularly unique, it still offers an enjoyable “modded” Emerald experience. I hope you have fun playing it!
