Golf Shiyouyo 2: Aratanaru Chōsen is the sequel to Golf Shiyou yo. It adds a variety of new characters and improved functionality.
Play golf with up to four-players and choose between a World Tour mode, Free Round mode (Stroke Play, Match Play, Point Tourney, and Time Attack) and ranking tournaments. Improve your golf game by exchanging GP (Golf Shiyouyo points) for new golf clubs, balls and costumes, many of which are based on actual items made by Bridgestone Corporation in Japan. GP can also be accumulated by playing slot machines or blackjack.
Players can choose between courses around the world ranging from Japan, Hawaii, Sweden, Brazil, Zimbabwe, England or America. This edition adds online multiplayer compatible only with the dial-up modem. The online functionality for this edition in Japan existed from January 25, 2001 and ended on August 20, 2001.
