Not intended for commercial distribution, Gunhed: Special Version was part of the fifth Caravan Festival organized by Hudson Soft in 1989. Gunhed: Special Version comes as a single HuCard, and offers two- and five- minute Time Attack modes designed for competitive hi-score play.
