Rat trap is a very basic version of a Lemmings-like game (even though here the rodents are to be mass-murdered) disguised as a platform game. It has a colourful and refined, if not excellent, look and plays very well, offering some relaxing fun like every good puzzle game should do. Not a classic by any means but nonetheless a good time waster.
Rat Trap was going to be a full commercial release by Audiogenic, then Acclaim got the licence for ‘Krusty’s Super Fun House’, and basically “bought” Rat Trap from Audiogenic, changed the character, changed the name: new game.
