Daemon Bride

Daemon Bride is one of the lesser-known titles by Examu, released only in arcades in Japan. Sporting a balanced roster with angelic and demonic themes, Daemon Bride is a game about a bunch of high schoolers that have contracts with demons or angels. It features staples such as a succubus with a pretty boy and an alluring female with a magic snake, but also more oddball characters such as a gang member with angry quid and a dog with Satan as a bird.

The fighting game takes on a holy vs. hell theme, but still maintains Arcana Heart’s four-button scheme of weak attack, strong attack, shooting (formerly the Arcana deity assist in the latter series), and dashing. For those intimidated by the fast-paced action, a simple mode can be activated for easier activation of moves.

To unlock secret characters:

Enter test menu, highlight “GAME SETTINGS”. While holding Right on player 1 joystick, enter C, A, C, A, C, A, C, A. The password input option is enabled now. Enter the codes using Player 1 controls.

Unlock Judgement Day: B, Down, C, Left, Down, Right, A, Up. Unlock Shining Rebellion: Up, C, Right, Left, B, A, B, C.

After unlocking, both characters can be chosen by pressing start over Reizei Abane and Kuon Sumeragi.
