Initial D Arcade Stage Zero is the 9th arcade game and the last game in the Arcade Stage series. The game switched from paper magnetic IC cards to cloud save data via Sega's Aime card system which was later updated to support Bandai Namco's Banapassport cards. The game changes the Arcade Stage formula by changing from sequential shifters to a 6-speed H-shifter and decreased the wheel rotation from 540 degrees to 270 degrees. Online services has been discontinued as of 1st December 2021.
The game has hosted collaboration events with MF Ghost, Hot Version and Touhou Project.
