Initial D The Arcade is the 10th game in the arcade series. However, separates itself from the Arcade Stage series. It is the first game to introduce 4 way battles, use a new art style for its avatars and utilise Unreal Engine 4 as opposed to Sega's proprietary engine.
The game was later released in Asia and Oceania regions on 29th July 2021 branded as an export version, and in mainland China on 29th August 2023 in collaboration with Wahlap.
