1300 years ago during the Tang dynasty, San Chang, a high priest, sets forth on a journey to India to learn the most profound Buddhist teachings – The Da Cheng Buddhist Scripture. During this journey he is attacked by many demons but is protected by his disciples Long Ma, Ba Chi, Wu Kong, Long Nui and Wu Ching.
