Vanguard II is a 1984 arcade horizontally scrolling shooter video game developed by SNK and released by SNK Corporation of America in the USA on March 1, 1984.
The game features improved graphics and sound over it's predecessor.
Gameplay changes from the original game includes improved player controls on the ship to move it in all directions. One button is used for a frontal shot while the second button is used to drop bombs on ground targets, controlled by a crosshair above the ship.
