In Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, released in 2007, the Ghosts must deal with a fragile situation as tensions between Mexico and the United States reach breaking point. Ghost Recon Future Soldier, released in 2012, stars a new team of Ghosts who use their skills to defuse situations in locales ranging from Africa to the Arctic to Moscow. All three games feature co-op and competitive multiplayer modes in addition to full-length single-player campaigns.
