Tomb Raider: Legend is the seventh installment in a series of computer games published by Eidos Interactive and developed by Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with the Dutch Nixxes Software BV , centering on the adventures of female archaeologist Lara Croft . This part will initially be released for PlayStation 2 , PC and Xbox . Release date April 2006 . A version for the GameCube will also be released later that year .
