The 3rd and final Taiko no Tatsujin game released on Nintendo DS. It borrows gameplay mechanics from both “Taiko no Tatsujin DS: Touch de Dokodon!” and “Meccha! Taiko no Tatsujin DS: Great Adventure of the Seven Islands!” Like the previous installment, Dororon! Yokai Great Decisive Battle! features a story mode, and in this case it is known as 'Yokai Great Decisive Battle mode', and features RPG-style gameplay.
