Dragon Warrior is a 1989 NES role-playing video game developed by Chunsoft and released by Nintendo of America in the USA on August 29, 1989.

Legend has it that, many years ago, the Legendary Hero, Lotus, received from God's hands a sphere of light. With his power, he defeated the demons that covered the world. Then the evil Dragon King appeared… stole the Sphere of Light, and sealed it in darkness.

It would not be long before this world is totally wrapped up and destroyed by darkness…

As the descendant of the Legendary Warrior Lotus, your mission will be to defeat the Dragon King, and reclaim the Sphere of Light using all your power and means to Your reach.
