In this version of the Kanto region, all of the Pokémon have been replaced due to a mysterious dimensional shift that no one seems to acknowledge (in other words: the story hasn't been changed, just the Pokémon). Other than that, it’s your typical Fire Red adventure, complete with a functional (and mostly untouched) post-game.
