However, when the decisive match arrived, one trainer failed to show, leaving the title to be claimed by default. This anticlimactic outcome left the region’s inhabitants deeply disappointed, having anticipated a legendary showdown.

Now, a decade later, a new generation of trainers is rising to take on the gym challenge once more. But strange lights have begun to appear in the sky, and some trainers are mysteriously wielding creatures they claim are not Pokémon. Where do these creatures come from?
