Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is a hack-and-slash action game developed by AAA Games Studio (a division of Koei Tecmo) and published by Nintendo. The title is a crossover of the The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom universe and the “Musou” genre from Koei Tecmo.

Set during the ancient Imprisoning War era of Hyrule’s founding, the game follows Princess Zelda as she is sent back in time, joins forces with King Rauru and other Sages, and battles the demon king Ganondorf in massive war-scale conflicts.

Gameplay centres on large-scale battles against hordes of enemies, use of special attack strings, environmental devices (Zonai devices) and co-operative play via split-screen or GameShare.
