A mash of Streets of Rage 2 and Yakuza, Streets of Kamurocho, was recently released on Steam to celebrate SEGA’s 60th anniversary.
The beat ’em up game combines the gameplay of 1992’s side-scrolling game, Streets of Rage 2, with the world and characters of the Yakuza franchise. Players will fight through the titular streets of Kamurocho against waves of rival Yakuza as either Kiryu or Majima, the protagonists of the Yakuza franchise. The game features both single-player and local co-op modes. Streets of Kamurocho is a Steam exclusive and will only be available from Oct. 17 to Oct. 19 at no cost.
