Somari The Adventurer is a Sonic 1 Rom Hack that features Somari instead of Sonic, and grants him some of the moves in Mario's toolkit, like the backflip and spin jump.
You start off in a Mario-themed stage to learn how to use these new abilities, and then you continue off to your adventure at Green Hill Zone, and so on.
