Killzone is a squad-based, first-person shooter set in the 24th century during a period of planetary colonization, chronicling the war between the Interplanetary Strategic Alliance and the Helghan Empire. The game follows Jan Templar, a high-ranking officer within the Interplanetary Strategic Alliance, as he battles invading Helghast forces on his homeworld of Vekta.
