Seiken Densetsu 4, is an action-adventure game developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 2. Released in 2006 in Japan and 2007 in North America, it is the eighth main entry in the Mana series and part of the World of Mana project.
The story follows Keldric, a young knight whose homeland falls into chaos when a portal to the land of darkness opens beneath the Tree of Mana. Players guide him on a journey to seal the portal and restore peace to the world.
Unlike previous titles in the series, Dawn of Mana features fully 3D environments and real-time combat using the Havok physics engine. Players can interact with objects in the environment to attack or distract enemies. The game was praised for its visuals and music but received mixed reviews for its controls, camera, and level progression system.
