It will be part of the tenth main entry in the Metal Gear series, taking place after Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Ground Zeroes will stand alone as the first half to Metal Gear Solid V, acting as the prologue for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
