Our protagonist Hugo lives a peaceful life, far away from war in a remote country named Portland. One day, Hugo witnesses a plane crash and hurriedly checks for survivors. On board he finds only a single girl, Fiona, who is chased by armed forces.
Hugo, without fully comprehending what is going on, sees himself forced to use his late fathers robot Pirot in order to protect Fiona and flee with her.
Eventually their adventure leads them on board of the floating battleship Starlight.
Thats when the cogwheel of destiny starts to spin.
