Ancient Roman – Power of the Dark Side is a classic RPG game in which the player takes the role of a 17 years boy that will meet a group of heroes to try to stop an evil force that wants to destroy the World.
The game begins 17 years in the past when the boy (a little baby then) was kidnapped by a monster from the arms of his mother (the princess). After that the game advance 17 years in the future and the player can give the main character the name that he prefers or leave the one that the game suggests, in first time he has (with the help of other 2 characters) to defeat to boss of a band of monsters that are attacking the town where they live, in the attack the father of the girl died and they decided that is time to move out of the town and start their great adventure.
The gameplay is the classic in a RPG with turn based battles in which each character can use special attacks, magic attacks and normal attacks.
