Journey of the Five (known as JoT5) is a fanmade sequel to the original FFT with heavy inspiration on the games that were at their height during its development.
A couple of years after the defeat of Altima, something dark and mysterious starts to work in Ivalice once again. For some unknown reason 4 heroes from different dimensions are summoned to Ivalice where they meet Duke Seymour, formerly know as Ramza Beoulve and together, these unusual heroes travel through Ivalice trying to find a way home while facing this unknown threat, while still having to deal with Ivalician politics and the machinations of King Delita.
Joining Ramza in this new adventure returns Cloud Strife from FFVII, Snake from Metal Gear Solid, Link from Legend of Zelda and Dante from Devil May Cry. Each has their own unique jobs with unique mechanics and synergies. JoT5 includes a new revamp on the job system, itemization, and mechanics like Marks, special hunt missions were you can face the biggest challenges in the game.
