Two years after the battle with the Ice Demon King, Pietro, now 12 years old, heads to the royal cave for the royal succession ceremony. Just as Pietro holds the Crown of Wisdom in the depths of the cave, a man named Baskar appears in front of him and tells him his prophecy and asks him a question. “What is the true king's treasure for you?”… Three years have passed since then, and Pietro has grown into a fine young man. One day, a report is brought to Popolocrois Castle that a dragon has appeared during tunnel construction in Parsera. The “souvenirs” collected in Popolocrois Story and Popologue can be carried over using memory card data. A new character has been added to the group of friends who went on an adventure together in The Tale of Popolocrois and major events are now fully voiced. Other features include a wider world to explore and flashier battle effects, but the basic system remains the same as the first game.
