Joust is a 1983 Atari 2600 video game developed by General Computer Corporation and released by Atari in the USA on October 28, 1983.

It is based on the 1982 arcade video game, Joust, which was produced by Williams Electronics.

Climb into a suit of armor and grab your lance – you're entering the medieval world of Joust! Fly your faithful ostrich steed into battle against the fearless Buzzard Riders. But, hold on tight – they'll knock you off your bird if they can!

Joust has all the features of the challenging arcade classic, including a 2-player game that lets you and a friend work as a team of joust each other on the aerial battlefield.
