Magic Duel is a death match style action shooter where two players play as two wizards trying to destroy the other one. Players can collect power-ups that restore life or magic, or even increase their firing rate.
There are several different single-screen maps that contain different elements that make each map unique: some contain 'mirrors' which can reflect shots, breakable walls that contain power-ups, environmental hazards, and more.
Magic Duel was entered into the RGCD C64 16KB Cartridge Game Development Competition 2013 winning the 7th spot.
