Painter is a variation of the arcade game Make Trax. The player controls “Patrick the Painter,” who must paint the entire layout by spraying around large paint pots, changing their background from yellow to blue. Patrick’s paint supply is limited, requiring careful path planning. The main obstacles are ink rollers, which knock Patrick out on contact and cost him an aerosol. The game ends if the paint runs out before the level is completed. Difficulty increases with more ink rollers per stage, up to a maximum of four.
