Ys V: Lost Kefin, Kingdom of Sand

Ys V: Lost Kefin, Kingdom of Sand is an action RPG remake of the 1995 Super Famicom classic, reimagined for PlayStation 2. Developed by Arc System Works and published by Taito, this version introduces fully 3D graphics with a quarter-view perspective, blending modern visuals with the fast-paced combat the series is known for.

Players once again take on the role of Adol Christin as he journeys through the desert kingdom of Kefin, uncovering its secrets and battling powerful foes. The remake expands the original with new mechanics, including sword-and-magic combo attacks, a refined jump and shield system, and an elemental magic system offering dozens of spell variations.

With enhanced visuals, reworked gameplay, and updated sound, the PS2 edition delivers a fresh experience while staying faithful to the spirit of the original adventure.
