In order to present the combat system of Final Fantasy XIII, but also to make fans wait until the Japanese release of the game, Square Enix released on April 16, 2009 a demo version of Final Fantasy XIII, contained in the limited edition Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete Blu-ray. The disc also contains trailers from other projects of the Fabula Nova Crystallis compilation, Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Agito XIII, which were at the time still under development on PS3 and PSP respectively.
