Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction follows the lombax Ratchet and his robot companion Clank as they flee their home planet after a ruthless warlord named Emperor Tachyon attacks and seeks to destroy Ratchet. The duo travels to the distant Polaris Galaxy to uncover the truth about Ratchet’s species and stop Tachyon from using an ancient device called the Dimensionator — a powerful machine tied to the fate of the lombaxes and the galaxy itself.
