Red Faction: Armageddon is a third-person shooter video game developed by Volition, Inc. and published by THQ. It is the fourth installment in the Red Faction series, and was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360[2] in various countries around the world between June 7 and June 10, 2011. Poor sales resulted in THQ’s decision to stop making games in the Red Faction franchise and negatively impacted their financial quarter.[3] The rights to the series are now owned by Nordic Games.[4][
