Wipeout Pure is a 2005 PlayStation Portable video game developed by Studio Liverpool and released by Sony Computer Entertainment America in the USA on March 24, 2005.
The Wipeout series makes its debut on the PSP with Wipeout Pure. Like previous installments, Pure takes you to a futuristic world of combat racing. On each track, you can pick up high-tech weapons and power-ups to help you push your craft ahead of the competition. Explore all-new environments while listening to an up-tempo soundtrack featuring various artists. You can download additional music, extra circuits, new craft, and personalized skins. Wipeout Pure features both single-player challenges and eight-player tournaments via Wi-Fi.
